Unreal. ESPN may be the “worldwide leader” and the best sports network in our atmosphere, but they’re also the most annoying. They’ve gone way overboard on the hype surrounding this USC-Ohio St. football game. It’s to the point where you don’t want to even watch it. Let’s take a look at this week’s happenings surrounding the “Collision in the Coliseum.” (cutely named by the ESPN suits)
- Chris Wells wakes up (Breaking News on Sportscenter)
- Chris “Beanie” Wells eats lunch (Breaking News on Sportscenter)
- Beanie Wells plays Wii at practice (Breaking News on Sportscenter)
- Shelly Smith interviews Mark Sanchez…AGAIN
- ESPN moves their entire radio and tv personnel to LA for a REGULAR SEASON game.
- Joe Schad tells us absolutely nothing about Beanie Wells, and stutters doing it.
- “Beanie” Chris Wells sneezes, and is reportedly sore, (Breaking News on Sportscenter)
- College Gameday does their show from the Coliseum.
- Wells “Beanie” Chris, gets on the team bus, in shorts (Breaking News on Sportscenter)
For the record I don’t think the game will even be close. USC will roll. And I can’t wait for next week so this overhype will be over.
