He forgot Rhythmic Gymnastics

Epic Carnival gives us this top 12 list of sports teams that make you a bad parent if you let your child cheer for them.  The only problem, I don’t see the Texas Rangers on this list.  A week or two ago, ESPN made a list of all-time losing franchises and they didn’t add Texas to that list either.  I feel slighted and angry.  I’ve given 34 years of my life to cheering on those pitiful Rangers yet the rest of the nation seems to take my misery for granted.  A couple of playoff teams that lose in the first round (to the same team) almost ten years ago is supposed to make me feel good about my team?  What about the Chicago Cubs you ask?  One hundred years without a Championship.  Please, at least they’ve made the World Series in my lifetime.  Even if they lost, there was at least a couple of months with high hopes.  What have the Rangers given me?  Poor pitching, upon poor pitching, upon poor pitching.  Sprinkle that in with occassionally poor hitting add in a heaping mound of errors and voila!, you’ve got yourself a really bad life of baseball.

Sorry, but your team was once owned by George Bush. On a karma level, you are in an even worse place than the Brewers with Bud Selig, who I also didn’t name.

There you go, that just helps to make my point. Not only have the Rangers been pathetic for their 36 years of existence, now we as fans have to take the blame for a past owner who has lied to a nation and started a war. The only thing worse would be cheering for the University of Hitler Mustaches. The ’staches OWN the 4th quarter!!
