So long Reveille VII. The Aggie mascot will retire once the semester ends.
The folks down in college station have had a hard time deciding what breed of dog the school should get to replace VII. Some people wanted an American Collie like most of the other mascots have been. Others wanted a dog that was rescued from the pound. To settle the issue, Dean Bresciani, Vice President of Student Affairs, set up a committee to decide what the school should do. Their decision, a collie looking dog that was didn’t work out as a service dog.
